Certification Accountability Group Guidance
Consists of 9 meetings over 5 months culminating in submission of the IACRN certification portfolio.
Each meeting is focused on a different deliverable for the IACRN portfolio:
• CV
• Continuing Education Record
• Professional Activities Record (2 meetings)
• Exemplars 1-4 (4 meetings)
Ongoing tracking of CE and PA records, highlight of CE opportunities at every meeting
Small group (maybe 5-10 participants?)
• Use breakout rooms of 2-3 to provide peer review
Meeting 1: Overview of certification process and CV
• Deliverable 1: CV
Meeting 2: Peer Review of CV, Overview of CE and PA Records
• Deliverable 2: CE Record and PA Record (Category 1 Podium/Poster Presentations)
Meeting 3: Peer review of CE/PA records- July 26, 2pm EST
• Deliverable 3: PA Record (Categories 2-5)
Meeting 4: Peer review of PA records and group discussion of unique ways to gain points
• Deliverable 4: Work on CEs, PA record and CV
Meeting 5: Overview of exemplars/mini writer’s workshop-
• Deliverable 5: Exemplar 1
Meeting 6: Peer/small group review of exemplar 1
• Deliverable 6: Exemplar 2
Meeting 7: Peer/small group review of exemplar 2
