Core Director Meeting Leadership Committee

We are delighted to introduce the Core Director Meeting Steering Committee, a group of experienced leaders from across Penn’s biomedical research core infrastructure. This committee will provide insight and help guide the Core Director community through meetings and instructional workshops.

• Chris Petucci, PhD, Director of the CVI Metabolomics Core and previously served as Core Director Meeting Chair. Dr. Petucci's core provides state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based analyses to support studies of metabolism in health and disease, offering both targeted and untargeted metabolomics services.
• Martin Keough, PhD, Director of the Stem Cell Xenograft Core, oversees preclinical in vivo modeling services and supports translational research across cancer and stem cell biology.
• Tony Secreto, MRA, Associate Director of the Stem Cell Xenograft Core, contributes operational leadership and regulatory expertise to ensure the core’s continued excellence in service delivery.
• Andrea Stout, PhD, Director of the CDB Microscopy Core, leads the application of advanced imaging technologies and provides extensive technical training and support to researchers.
• Wenli Yang, PhD, Director of the Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Core, has over 15 years of experience in human stem cell modeling and genomic editing and plays a key role in expanding access to cutting-edge cellular technologies.
• Tim O’Brien, PhD, Director of the Neurobehavior Testing Core, manages comprehensive behavioral phenotyping services, supporting research on neurological and psychiatric disease models.
