Bio statement

Dr. Loabile is an early-career investigator and Instructor of Medicine within the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Clinical Infectious Disease fellowship and a Master of Science in Epidemiology at UPenn and has since leveraged the Botswana-UPenn Partnership to support building a research career in sub-Saharan Africa. Her interests include using implementation science to improve the integration of healthcare services for people living with or at risk for HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. With the guidance of Dr. Robert Gross and Robbie Schnoll, she has helped lead implementation-focused work that has involved tracking clinical trial modifications during a randomized clinical trial testing smoking cessation interventions for people with HIV in Botswana, to identify potential implementation strategies for smoking cessation interventions in this setting.
