Recent global health projects
Pre-eclampsia and HIV Research in Botswana: I led analyses on the relationship between HIV, antiretroviral therapy, and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. The project evaluated pre-eclampsia prevalence and outcomes among women with and without HIV, providing evidence to guide care in high-HIV-burden settings.
Point-of-Care Ultrasound Training in Kenya:
In partnership with Kenyatta National Hospital, I helped design and implement a point-of-care ultrasound curriculum for midwives focused on antenatal and intrapartum care. The initiative strengthened diagnostic capacity and clinical confidence among frontline providers, supporting sustainable improvements in maternal health services.
