Bio statement

I am a resident in Diagnostic Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus in Abdominal Imaging. I have a long interest in health equity and sustainable healthcare delivery in low-resource settings, stemming from my upbringing in rural Jamaica.
I hope to build a career in global radiology focused on education outreach and sustainable capacity building in developing countries.

Recent global health projects

In medical school, I spent a summer (2015-2016) at in Rwanda, focused on assessing the level of diabetes care provided at Partners In Health-supported non-communicable diseases clinics in rural Rwanda. This work helped to inform several subsequent quality improvement initiatives in the diabetes care.

Since then, I have been involved in health equity initiatives on a local level.
