Bio statement

I am Chair of the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania, and the editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Epidemiology. My focus is reproductive epidemiology and epidemiological methods working to improve study designs; to fuel new methods; and to solve analytical challenges in reproductive health. I am especially interested in the methodological components of exposure assessment, causal inference, and the etiologic study of reproduction. Previously I was the Senior Investigator and Epidemiology Branch Chief of the Division of Intramural Population Health Research National Institute of Child Health & Human Development at NIH.
