Bio statement

Dr Ha Minh Thuy currently serves as Curriculum Development Manager for MD program in the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity. After graduation in 2011, Dr Thuy had experiences working in the Oncology department in both local and international hospitals. Within this current position, Dr Thuy has considerable contribution in designing the curriculum for MD program including assessment needs, competency establishment, curriculum framework, teaching and learning materials development… Dr Thuy is the second Vietnamese to be accepted in the International Fellowship program at FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia, US with fully funded scholarship. This program is focusing on health professional education supported by the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research a non – profit foundation of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

Recent global health projects

Research project: " List of procedural skills for medical graduates in Vietnam: A Curriculum Validation Study". A cross-sectional study to identify the list of procedural skills needed for an MD training program through an online survey of 350 physicians within the Vinmec healthcare system.

Innovative project: " Introduction and promotion of quality assurance culture in the early phase of the university development": to build up and promote the quality assurance culture in the institution, moving toward accreditation and enhance the quality of medical education.
