BIO STATEMENT
I am the director of the Holman Biotech Commons, the University of Pennsylvania Libraries’ branch supporting research, education, and patient care for the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS), the Perelman School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and life sciences’ programs in the School of Arts and Sciences. I am interested in supporting the health enterprise, and in particular health sciences research, in the countries were Penn has a presence. Examples of this support includes access to and discovery of scholarly research, data visualization and literature searching training, and capacity building in health sciences libraries abroad. I am also a member of Penn in Latin America and the Caribbean, a multidisciplinary group dedicated to promoting Penn’s work in and for this region.
