Bio statement

I am a second generation Bangladeshi-American, born in the US but with close ties in Dhaka, Bangladesh where I have paired with Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in a teaching endeavor in the area of Critical Care Ultrasound and curriculum development. My current role at HUP is not only in the area of clinical activities in Critical Care but also the role of faculty instructor in the area of Critical Care Ultrasound.

Recent global health projects

1. Sustainable Ultrasound Education: 2 day course provided to physicians both trained in critical care and those without, pre and post tests indicate improvement in knowledge retention and apprehension of clinical skills, one year follow up with similar findings

2. Clinical Service in the Rohingya Refugee camp along-provided critical care services in the Rohingya Refugee camps in Bangladesh via MedGlobal
