BIO STATEMENT

Dr. Sabahat Fatima completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Indus Hospital & Health Network, Karachi, where she served as Chief Resident and was honored with the Best Graduate Award. Dr. Sabahat Fatima currently serves as the head of the emergency department at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, part of the Indus Hospital & Health Network in Muzafargarrh, Pakistan. As a passionate emergency physician, she focuses on improving the quality of emergency care, trauma care, and emergency medicine capacity building in LMICs. As a Basic Emergency Course Master Trainer (BEC - WHO/ICRC), she has facilitated numerous simulation-based courses in collaboration with UPenn and Emory University faculty. While at Penn as a Summer Visiting Fellow, she gained valuable experience in Implementation Science, further enhancing her expertise in Global Health.
