About Us

“A lot of times we as veterans marginalize the invisible wounds, when they are every bit as significant if not more so debilitating than the physical ones…”  — Ryan Pitts, Medal of Honor recipient

Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for military families and veterans, including those from the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status. Our mission in action:

  • Personalized Care: We work with our veterans and their families to make a plan using the best treatments available that meet their needs and work as a team to address barriers to care and challenges that may arise.
  • Professional Training: We provide training for the future leaders in veterans’ behavioral health to ensure more veterans have access to high-quality care over time.
  • Evidence-based Practices: Evidence informs everything we do, ensuring we provide veterans and their loved ones with treatments that work. Our clinicians are trained in the most effective treatments, and our local executive board and the Cohen Veterans Network Scientific Board ensure that our programs are on the cutting edge of available treatments and research.

Vision

As part of the Cohen Veterans Network, we share the vision that all veterans and their families deserve access to high-quality mental health care that allows them to lead fulfilling, productive lives.
