Dr. Shoshana Aronowitz, PhD, FNP-BC, MSN, RN
Dr. Shoshona Aronowitz, PhD, BA, MSN, FNP-BC is a doctorally-trained nurse who researches the intersection of criminal justice and healthcare, the effects of incarceration, re-entry after incarceration, substance abuse, and the impacts of racism/bias on health and healthcare.
Dr. Utsha Khatri, MD (VA Scholar)
Dr. Utsha Khatri, MDis an Emergency Medicine physician. Her research focuses on improving the quality of medical care and social service delivery for vulnerable populations, with a focus on individuals with a history of incarceration and those with substance use disorder.
Dr. Rachel Kishton, MD (VA Scholar)
Dr. Rachel Kishton, MD is trained in Psychiatry and Family Medicine. As a Clinician Scholar, she will research and design models of health care provisions which integrate mental health and primary care for vulnerable populations both domestically and internationally.

Dr. John Morgan, MD specializes in Internal Medicine. He is most interested in understanding behavioral, structural and social determinants of ambulatory care utilization in order to inform the design of delivery platforms that effectively align payer, provider, patient and public interests.

Dr. Robin Ortiz, MD is a Pediatrician/Internist. She researches how childhood experiences and lifestyle factors influence health and chronic disease outcomes throughout life studying biomarkers and epigenetics, and demonstrating how to mitigate risk by interventions that build resilience.

Dr. Laura Sinko, PhD, RN, CCTS-I received her PhD in Nursing from the University of Michigan. As a Clinician Scholar, she plans on investigating socio-cultural influences of gender-based violence, the impact of trauma-informed care, and sexual violence healing and recovery.
Dr. Aditi Vasan, MD
Dr. Aditi Vasan ,MD is a Pediatrician. Her research centers around developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative population-based strategies aimed at screening for and addressing social determinants of health across healthcare settings, to improve child health outcomes and reduce health disparities.
