Overview
The Penn Collaborative is firmly committed to mentoring and training the next generation of implementation scientists. Over the years, we have proudly trained, supervised, and developed junior faculty members, postdoctoral fellows and pre-licensed professionals, community mental health clinicians who were so impacted by their experiences with the Penn Collaborative that they elected to join the team, research assistants building experience to strengthen graduate applications, graduate students searching for opportunities to learn about training, consultation and implementation science research, and undergraduate students seeking experience and mentorship as they start their educational journeys.
Alumni of the Penn Collaborative team have gone on to roles including faculty appointments (e.g., University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, Penn State University, Lehigh University), intermural staff at the National Institute of Mental Health, Director of Research at the National Association for School Psychologists, and Director of Behavioral Science at large medical centers. Others have moved into industry, including Meta, Jimini, Ochin, and other tech-focused companies. Team members have also transitioned into practice roles in the Veterans Administration, academic medicine clinics, criminal justice settings, public schools, and private practice. Junior colleagues have gone on to some of the most prestigious graduate training programs in the US and internationally.
Each member of the Penn Collaborative team is provided with supervision and support in achieving their personal and professional goals, regardless of which path that may be.
