How to Choose? Implementation Science Frameworks and Health Equity: An Overview for Early-Stage Investigators
A spring lecture with Dr. Katelin Hoskins and Dr. Stephen Bonett. This lecture focused on the use of theories, models, and frameworks within implementation science with an emphasis on health equity. The presenters provided guidance on how to select a framework based on investigators’ research questions and goals, a worked use case and pose key questions with which the field is currently grappling.

Medical-Legal Partnerships: A Promising Approach for Engaging Vulnerable Populations in the HIV Prevention and Care Continuation
A spring lecture with Omar Martinez, JD, MPH, MS co-sponsored by CFAR IS Core and PISCE. During this talk, attendees 1) Understood the role of medical-legal partnerships (MLPs) in HIV Care, 2) Identified key legal barriers affecting HIV prevention and treatment, and 3) Integrated MLPs into clinical practice.
