Dr. Tuttle was the SUPERS program director for 9 years. Dr. Tuttle passed suddenly in January of 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. No one can replace the passion, enthusiasm and selflessness that Steve brought to the SUPERS program. Steve was the heart and soul of the program, he brought fun and friendship to the students, and he truly cared about each and every student that came through the program. He mentored and stayed in touch with every alum, guiding them along their journeys in science and in life. He is greatly missed by all that had the fortune of knowing him.

The Stephen Tuttle Fund for Oncology Research & Education

STF was formed in Dr. Tuttle's memory to fund educational and research opportunities for the next generation of scientists, with the hope of getting closer each year to the cure. The SUPERS@PENN program directly benefits from the contributions made to STF.  Be sure to check out the yearly fundraising benefit, Bourbon, Brews, & Blues!
