Shereen Aissi (2023 SUPERS alum) Awarded Best Presentation

Congratulations to SUPERS Alum Shereen Aissi for receiving the Best Presentation Award in Medical Physics at the 2024 ANS Student Conference, for her paper titled, "Dosimetric Effect of 2 vs 3 Treatment Fields in Pencil Beam Scanning Proton Therapy Treatment Planning for Lung Cancer"; awarded by the American Nuclear Society. Shereen worked with Dr. Shannon O'Reilly on the paper which is based on her research conducted during her 2023 Supers summer. Shereen has been accepted into UC Berkeley for an MS in Nuclear Engineering with a Medical Physics concentration.
