How to Join Our Lab
Spring of 2020 Research Assistants: We are currently recruiting volunteer research assistants for Spring of 2020. Interested applicants should send a CV/resume, letter of intent, and reference name and contact to Sonakshi Negi at email@example.com.
These positions are unpaid with the possibility of pay in the future based on funding resources. We are looking for responsible, conscientious, and detail-oriented students who are committed to gaining more clinical and translational research experience in a pediatric setting with interests in one or more of the following areas: eating disorders, nutrition, brain development, sex differences, neuro-circuitry, and executive functioning.
Research assistants have a variety of roles in lab. We strive to match each research assistant's responsibilities with their research interests and goals. Responsibilities include: database creation, data scoring and data entry, participant recruitment, conducting informed consent, participant assessment (including standard assessments, clinical interviews, and fMRI task administration).
Research assistants are asked to commit to at least 8 hours a week and ideally a one-year commitment.
Per CHOP policy, all new research assistants must complete a comprehensive background check, training in research ethics, and job specific training. Once you become a part of our team, it can take approximately 6 weeks to complete all clearances. Please plan your application with us accordingly.
