Mock Scanner
There is a mock scanner freely available to the Penn research community (Psychology Software Tools, Inc. model # PST-100355). The mock scanner creates a realistic fMRI environment to desensitize participants prior to scanning. It is located in Room 304 in the Levin Building (by the biopond near Goddard). Please note the scanner is much smaller than a full-size scanner. It offers MoTrak (motion tracking) and SimFx (sound simulation and presentation) software. To access the scanner, please create a booking on the CAMRIS calendar. There is a key located in the lock box outside Room 301 (code: 1740). A Penncard will be required for entry. Please remember to wipe the table and return the key before leaving.
