Industry Studies

New for FY26: CAMRIS will charge a one-time Study Initiation fee for industry studies. This includes up to 5 hours of assistance with startup activities.

CAMRIS is pleased to support MRI scanning for industry studies. Associated costs are available on the CAMRIS Rate Sheet. Applications are processed through the standard CAMRIS application. Please refer to the information below to assist with feasibility planning and the completion of sponsor site surveys.

Study Startup

CAMRIS is available to support study teams with startup activities, such as: phantom and/or human test scanning; scanner certification/qualification; site accreditation; provision of a .pdf of MRI protocols to share with sponsors; completion of training requirements; and assistance with sponsor paperwork. To access this service, please submit a 'Request Assistance with Study Startup' ticket at the CAMRIS Help Center and include all relevant attachments.

Sponsor Communication

The study team is responsible for sponsor/CRO communications, including the de-identification and transfer of imaging data according to sponsor requirements. Please see SOP 105 for CAMRIS's data transfer policy. CAMRIS technologists are not considered research study team members and should not be listed on trial documentation whenever possible. Please see SOP 104 for CAMRIS's policy regarding technologist delegation; this SOP can be submitted to sponsors during feasibility planning. Kindly put the name of the UPENN-based study coordinator as the primary point of contact. The study coordinator can then contact CAMRIS directly with questions by filing a ticket at the CAMRIS Help Center
