Extensive background in molecular and cell biology including mammalian cell culture and recombinant DNA technology.

Puya Aravand is a professional musician (Violinist), having carried out training at the Manhattan School of Music. He was recruited to CAROT in 2015 where he developed his scientific skills. He performs numerous technical procedures, works closely with the CAROT translational team, and carries out analyses of basic and clinical research data.
