We’re delighted to announce that the Princeton HealthCare System has officially joined Penn Medicine. Completion of this effort, which included a series of regulatory approvals over the past year, has further solidified Penn Medicine’s position as the leader in providing comprehensive care on both sides of the Delaware River.

Our connection to Princeton Healthcare has been an especially natural evolution during the strategic planning process for Penn Medicine’s expansion over the past few years. Penn Medicine already had a strong presence in New Jersey – 25 percent of our patients live there, as does a third of our staff. Our new Penn Medicine Cherry Hill practice has brought new services – including radiation oncology – to the suburbs of Southern New Jersey and seen patient activity triple since the expanded facility opened in the fall of 2016. Now, with Princeton Health on board, we’ve created a 50-mile corridor that makes it easy to access Penn Medicine outpatient and inpatient care throughout Southern and Central New Jersey.

Penn Medicine Princeton Health, as it will be known, is top-ranked in Central New Jersey, and long-recognized as the destination of choice for the best care in that region. We are committed to a powerful partnership that allows patients to receive care both close to their homes, and when needed, to easily access care at our Philadelphia hospitals – and then to return home as soon as possible and continue working with their local clinicians at Princeton Health.

Thank you for all you do to support this work and partner with colleagues to provide the best care for our patients, near and far. Each of your contributions plays a significant role in shaping Penn Medicine’s future.
