Match Day 2026

Earlier today at a ceremony in the Jordan Medical Education Center, we proudly celebrated Match Day with the Perelman School of Medicine Class of 2026.
In our celebration of the bright future that awaits, we reflected on the dedication, hard work, and spirit of this class. This class is outstanding, with an overall 96% match rate. We are thrilled that 28% percent of the class matched to a Penn or Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia program.
These impressive statistics (including additions in the infographic below) represent years and countless hours of study, focus, and perseverance from our students. The match results also underscore the support from our exceptional faculty and staff, who ensure our medical education programs are among the very best in the country.

We are proud of and grateful for the many and far-reaching contributions of our soon-to-be-graduates, who give their time, talents, knowledge, and compassion to our school, our society, and the communities in which they will live and serve.
