Mobile Clinical Trial Unit (MCTU)

The MCTU is a medical vehicle that is built on a heavy-duty truck frame.  It contains an expandable waiting area and two private exam rooms.  It has a sink area and a bathroom and is equipped with two locked refrigerators for specimen and medication storage.  The unit is approved for use by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as a site for HIV testing and the exam rooms provide comfortable and private space for counseling, interviews, and data and specimen collections.
