Faculty Mentors

Students in the MCI and MSBMI degree programs designate IBI faculty members to serve in the following advising/mentorship roles. Below are the lists of faculty available to serve in each of those roles as of the current academic year (2026-2027).

Please refer to the BMI Programs Student & Faculty Handbook for additional information.

Capstone Advisor (MCI degree)

All MCI students declare a capstone advisor to supervise their capstone project in the final semester of the degree program. Capstone advisors should be confirmed and approved by program leadership in the second-to-last semester.

Master's Thesis Advisor (MSBMI degree)

All MSBMI students declare a primary thesis advisor to supervise their Master's thesis in the final two semesters of the degree program. The Master's Thesis Advisor serves as a member of the student's Thesis Committee.

Master's Thesis Committee Member (MSBMI degree)

At least one of the two committee members designated for the Master's Thesis defense should be from the following list. We encourage MSBMI students to designate non-IBI faculty as the second member based on areas of clinical or methodological interest that are not covered by the following faculty.
