Molecular Imaging and Neuroimaging Division (MIND-CSA)

The Molecular Imaging and Neuroimaging Division at the CSA focuses on translational research of addictive behaviors. In partnership with investigators across several departments and institutes, such as Neurology and Radiology, we use advanced imaging techniques, including Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to better understand mechanisms contributing to addictive behaviors, to identify and characterize the consequences of chronic alcohol and substance use, and to improve treatment outcomes

Research Areas

Our research focuses on all major substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, nicotine, cannabis, and disorders/diseases that co-occur with addiction.
