PCGI Inaugural Scientific Retreat
The Penn Center for Genome Integrity (PCGI) held its Inaugural Scientific Retreat on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, PA from approximately 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. The day-long retreat consisted of scientific trainee talks, lunch, a museum-guided tour and other fun activities, capped off by Keynote speaker Maiken Scott (WHYY) and culminated in an outdoor reception in the Mütter museum garden. We were delighted to have the opportunity to bring together the dozens of PCGI labs working across our sprawling campus to share ongoing research in a relaxed setting, and feel the event sparked new ideas for innovation and collaboration. We are looking forward to making this an annual event, please stay tuned for information.
