PCGI Annual Scientific Retreat

The Penn Center for Genome Integrity (PCGI) held its Fourth Annual Scientific Retreat on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia with access to The Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, PA from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. This day-long retreat consisted of a keynote address by Dr. Shan Zha (Columbia University), with faculty talks by Drs. Foteini Mourkioti and Timour Baslan, trainee talks representing many of our PCGI labs, plus roundtable discussions, museum tours, and other fun activities.

Events culminated in an outdoor reception in the Mütter museum's Sir John Templeton Veranda and Medicinal Herb Garden. We were so glad to have another opportunity to bring together the dozens of PCGI labs working across our sprawling campus, and share ongoing research in a relaxed setting.
