PCGI Annual Scientific Retreat
The Penn Center for Genome Integrity (PCGI) will hold its Annual Scientific Retreat on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at The Science History Institute in Philadelphia, PA from approximately 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. The day-long retreat will consist of scientific trainee talks, roundtable discussions on entrepreneurship by commercializing academic discoveries, and landing an academic faculty position, lunch, and other fun activities.
The day will be highlighted by Keynote speakers Drs. Taekjip (TJ) Ha (Johns Hopkins University) and Jennifer Phillips-Cremins (PSOM Dept. of Genetics), and will culminate in an outdoor reception in the museum courtyard. We are delighted to have the opportunity to bring together the dozens of PCGI labs working across our sprawling campus to share ongoing research in a relaxed setting, and hope this event will spark new ideas for innovation and collaboration.
