Organizational EBP Trainings
Successful implementation is about more than just training—it's about creating a plan that supports your goals for the long term. We contract directly with systems, organizations, and individuals to offer targeted supports for the implementation of CBT, Certified Older Adult Peer Specialists (COAPS), and other evidence-based mental health practices (EBPs).
Below is an overview of the services we offer. Contact us to explore a customized approach to best fit your goals.
For systems and organizations:
CBT Training and Certification
Our training programs are designed to turn clinicians into skilled and confident CBT practitioners. Our nationally recognized curriculum, co-developed with mental health organizations, is both empirically backed and highly practical.
Learners gain a strong foundation in core CBT skills through interactive workshops that cover everything from case conceptualization and goal setting, to cognitive and behavioral interventions, and culturally responsive care. These can be delivered live (in-person or livestreamed) or asynchronously to fit your team's schedule.
After workshops, your team can participate in a six-month, expert-led consultation group. Through reviewing and evaluating real-world work samples, our experts and peers provide a supportive environment for learners to get feedback, build confidence, and deepen their skills.
Upon completion of the training requirements, learners earn a certificate from the Penn Collaborative. Those who demonstrate competence on a gold-standard CBT fidelity measure also earn a Penn Certificate of CBT Competence, recognizing them as highly skilled practitioners of the model.
Certified Older Adult Peer Specialist (COAPS)
The COAPS program works nationally to address the unmet mental health needs of older adults by training certified peer specialists (CPS) to engage older adults in services, guide them through the recovery process, and help them navigate healthcare systems. COAPS training addresses topics such as typical aging, recovery-oriented support, motivational interviewing, and cultural responsiveness.
The 18-hour training package includes the workshops, all training materials, connections to local resources, and workshop evaluations. Workshops are delivered in person at your site or livestreamed. Upon completion of training, participants are certified as a COAPS Provider by the University of Pennsylvania.
Our comprehensive approach—combining our expertise in training, implementation, and research—is what sets us apart. We're not just providing a service; we're partnering with you to create a lasting impact.
