RECOVER Clinic

To provide long-term support to patients and families, the RECOVER Program offers an outpatient clinic. The clinic is integrated with Penn's Neurology Residency Program, to ensure that neurology trainees receive foundational education and experience in recovery after brain injury. Purposes of the outpatient clinic may include:

  • Screening for chronic neurologic complications of brain injury
  • Management of chronic neurologic complications of brain injury
  • Treatments to promote consciousness recovery
  • Coordination between specialties in brain injury care
  • Coordination with research
  • Support to patients and families in evaluating treatment options
  • Maintaining longitudinal relationships with patients and families navigating brain injury recovery
