Description of Research Expertise

Dr. Desrochers actively recruits patients for participation in a variety of ongoing research studies at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, through the Pediatric Research Consortium (PeRC).

Description of Clinical Expertise

Dr. Colette Desrochers has clinical expertise in the care of children and families living in urban communities. She has special interests in child behavior and development, and in the management of long term chronic health conditions of childhood, including asthma, obesity, developmental delay and learning differences. She is committed to partnering with families to build strong parent-child relationships and to recognize families who would benefit from additional support from community resources. She is committed to recognizing and preventing child maltreatment and neglect. She has been practicing pediatrics in her current location for 17 years.
