179 My research is directed at improving the acute management of complications of sickle cell disease with a particular emphasis on the management of vaso-occlusive pain crisis. My areas of expertise include genomic analysis of analgesic response to morphine, randomized controlled trials, large observational studies and conducting analyses of national databases.65
