Description of Clinical Expertise

As an interventional spine physiatrist, my clinical expertise is in the evaluation and non- operative treatment of patients with spine and musculoskeletal conditions.This includes comprehensive musculoskeletal and neurological examination, non-opioid medication prescription, appropriate exercise prescription, performing cervical and lumbar epidural injections, facet medial branch blocks, radio frequency ablation and image guided joint injections.
My prior experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology has provided me develop additional expertise in the evaluation and management of musculoskeletal and neurological pelvic pain conditions and includes appropriate exercise prescription, performing fluoroscopic guided pelvic floor injections, pelvic joint injections and nerve blocks.

Description of Research Expertise

I have been actively involved in pelvic pain education for the physiatrists in the AAPMR academy meetings and have published book chapters and journal publications on musculoskeletal and neurological pelvic pain management. I have participated in resident and fellow educational activities in clinical practice and organized structured lectures and practical courses on pelvic injections at the annual academy meetings.
