Description of Research Expertise

As a Research Assistant Professor in the laboratory of Dr. Eric Joyce, I am developing methodologies for spatial genomic organization at single-cell resolution, making contributions to the Oligopaints fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) technology platform and enabling advanced imaging of DNA and RNA. We have created a high-throughout imaging pipeline for the genetic screening and identification of novel regulators of organization, and we seek to incorporate high-content feature detection to address the limitations of traditional microscopy.
