Description of Clinical Expertise

Dr. Heyman is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and in Critical Care Medicine. Her outpatient practice is focused on the evaluation and management of patients with diffuse parenchymal lung diseases. Her inpatient time is spent attending on pulmonary services and in the Medical Intensive Care Units. Her clinical expertise includes interstitial lung diseases, sarcoid, sepsis, shock, mechanical ventilation, acute respiratory failure, and airway management.
