1) Understanding mechanisms underlying initiation and maintenance of Atrial
Fibrillation
2) Developing and assessing various ablation strategies for atrial and
ventricular tachyarrhythmias
3) Outcomes Research in patients with implantable cardioverter defibrillators
and patients undergoing AF ablation
