Mirroring the academic grand rounds programs, this series combines traditional academic grand rounds with the innovation and convenience of telemedicine. This weekly webinar program, broadcast from the Perelman School of Medicine, and delivered by top experts in the field, covers a wide range of topics involved with the clinical care of patients with HIV/AIDS.
The one-hour presentations is designed to be immediately relevant to practicing HIV clinicians and many are case-based. The final 10 minutes of each one-hour program consists of a live question and answer period with the presenting speaker available to answer questions from participants either in person or via the Internet. These weekly grand rounds programs are intended to provide clinicians with convenient and easily accessible knowledge and the clinical skills they need to provide the best medical care for their HIV-positive patients.
HIV Grand Rounds is jointly provided by Penn Medicine and ViralEd, Inc. Additional educational support is given by the Penn Center for AIDS Research.
The program is supported by unrestricted educational grants from Janssen Therapeutics, ViiV Healthcare, and Merck &Co.
You may contact Rick Gordon by email at rgordon@viraled.com for additional assistance with the program.
