At the Armellino Center of Excellence for Williams Syndrome, we provide medical and behavioral health services for individuals of all ages. Whether you live down the street or across the country, our team will work with you to ensure there is a cohesive care plan from your medical and behavioral health providers and the support needed to help you implement recommendations.

Pediatric Program
The ACE-WS Pediatric Program offers coordinated medical and behavioral health services through a broad network of Williams syndrome specialists, with flexible options for ongoing or consultative care:
- Single visits:
- Great for: patients who are local to the Philadelphia area or seeking consultation with our Williams syndrome specialists.
- Coordinated care visits
- Great for out-of-town families, combining appointments with a lead WS physician and additional specialists over one or more days, often requiring an overnight stay.
- Multidisciplinary visits
-
Provide coordinated, same-day care in one location with a unified, personalized plan.
-
Appointments include a visit with our lead WS physician plus cardiology (echo/EKG), physical therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology. Any additional referrals can be scheduled later as coordinated care visits.
-
These visits may run from as early as 7am to the afternoon.
-
Consultative medical and behavioral health services involve an evaluation with our providers who specialize in Williams syndrome. During your visit, our providers will perform an assessment and provide recommendations and support to your local providers. At this time, all new patients are required to come for in-person visits.
We know it is extremely time-consuming to coordinate visits, so we are here to help. If you don't know what scheduling option is right for you, give us a call at 888-722-3497 and we can talk through it!
Transition to Adulthood Program
ACE-WS supports patients and families through the transition to adulthood with a comprehensive medical and psychosocial plan. Through our Transition to Adulthood Research Program, we provide neuropsychological assessments to identify needed supports and guide families in accessing the right resources and care.
