Parking at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

On-campus Parking Options

There are two available parking garages at CHOP- Main Hospital Parking A and Buerger Center Parking B. 

Parking Discounts

Costs vary depending on the length of time parked and are posted in the garages.

Parking discounts are available to parents and legal guardians. You must get your parking ticket discounted at one of the following locations:

  • Clinic or department check-in desk
  • Main Hospital welcome desk, first floor
  • Buerger Center welcome desk, first floor
  • Any check-in or checkout desk at the Buerger Center
Exiting the Garages

Parking can be paid for at kiosks in each parking garage, or with credit/debit at each parking exit. Remember to get your parking ticket discounted at the welcome and check-in desks for a lower cost.

To receive "in-and-out" privileges, parents and legal guardians can validate their parking ticket at any welcome desk.

Parking at Penn Medicine

There are several parking options and services available. 

Parking Garages
  • Civic Center Boulevard (CCB) Parking Garage - 3600 Civic Center Boulevard

    • Weekdays: the garage opens on Monday at 5am and closes Fridays at midnight.

    • Weekends: Closed

    • Free shuttle services is available at parking garage Level 2 on a continuous loop to the Perelman Center, the Pavilion, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania ​

  • Pavilion Parking Garage- 1 Convention Ave

    • Open 24/7

    • Four options to pay for parking:​

      • by texting the number on your ticket​

      • by credit card at the entry/exit point​

      • at pay station located in each elevator lobby​

      • at pay station located in valet waiting area located on P1

  • ​​​​Perelman Center (PCAM) Parking Garage - 6 Health Sciences Drive
    • Open 24/7
    • Pay at the self-service machines located on levels P1, P2, or P3 or at the Cashier located in the Atrium Lobby on the Ground Floor
    • Senior discount is available to patients and guests 62 years and older
Valet Parking

Valet service is available at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for patients with scheduled surgeries or women's health appointments. There are concierges wearing "red coats" available near the entrance to assist patients with mobility issues.
