Description of Clinical Expertise

Dr. Chesnokova is trained in general obstetrics and gynecology and provides full spectrum general OBGYN care. Her focus lies in minimally invasive benign gynecologic surgery, including robotic surgery, and menopausal care delivery. Dr. Chesnokova is a Nationally Certified Menopause Practitioner. Dr. Chesnokova practices at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and the Corporal Michael J Crescenz Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

Description of Research Expertise

Arina Chesnokova, MD, MPH is a National Clinician Scholar in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. Dr. Chesnokova’s research interests include outpatient care delivery models for underserved patients with OBGYN needs and equitable care delivery in low resource settings. She is specifically interested in isolating high value components of outpatient OBGYN care and taking underserved care out of silos. Dr. Chesnokova is also interested in the midlife transition and gynecologic care delivery and disparities around the time of menopause as well as equity in contraceptive counseling and access.
