Description of Clinical Expertise

Dr. Chesnokova is trained in general obstetrics and gynecology, but her current practice is devoted primarily to gynecology. She specializes in menopausal care delivery and midlife women's health, as well as minimally invasive benign gynecologic surgery, including robotic surgery. Dr. Chesnokova is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

Arina Chesnokova, MD, MPH, MSHP, is an Academic Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Health Services Researcher. Dr. Chesnokova's research interests include the midlife transition and menopausal care delivery, particularly access to high-quality menopause care for all patients. She is also interested in outpatient care delivery models for underserved patients with OBGYN needs, equitable care delivery in low-resource settings, and value-based payment in obstetrics and gynecology care.
