Description of Clinical Expertise

My expertise is in treating women with symptomatic fibroids utilizing uterine artery embolization also known as uterine fibroid embolization helping to start the program at University of Pennsylvania with collaboration with the department of obstetrics and gynecology. The minimally invasive procedure affords faster recovery with a high success rate. It is also being used to treat women with adenomyosis who experience severe bleeding and pain

Embolization is also performed for other conditions such as varicocele in men and pelvic congestion syndrome in women.
