Description of Other Expertise

I have had 2 clinical research fellows that I have directly supervised: Dr Rattapon Thuongtang, MD from June 2009 to June 30, 2010 and Dr Chinmanat Tangjaturonrusamee, MD from June 30, 2009 to July 30, 2010.

I have had many medical students, residents and fellows rotate through my section in a fellowship or preceptorship capacity.

I have begun an integrated rotation for ENT and Ophthalmologic residents and fellows here at Radnor in Cosmetic Dermatology.

I have establised for our residents and students a lecture and workshop model so that they have a chance to treat their patients with my direct supervision.

I started a society for Cosmetic Dermatology since there really was none in the early 2000. The society is the American Society for Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery founded in 2001. Its mission is to educate our fellow dermatologists in the field of cosmetic dermatology and promote research. Several awards have been given since its inception. The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery is now interested in combining with ASCDAS this year. It was founded as a non-profit organization.
