Description of Clinical Expertise

As a pediatric psychologist in the CHOP Cancer Center, I provide outpatient and inpatient individual, family, and group behavioral health consultation and intervention to children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer or blood disorders and their families. Regular consultation and clinical support to multidisciplinary team.

Additional clinical work:

Organizer and facilitator of AYA "Stronger Together" support group program. Groups held twice a month for both on-tx and off-tx patients.

Co-Collaborator and Co-facilitator of "Connections" Caregiver support groups in partnership with Momcology.

Organizer and Lead for CHOP Voorhees patient-facing programming initiatives, such as "Psychosocial Welcome Visits". These welcome visits are designed to support newly diagnosed oncology families in the outpatient setting, to introduce them to their psychosocial team members, help orient them to available psychosocial services available in clinic, and assess each family's needs. Also offered as review of psychosocial services and assessment of needs at different points in treatment.
