Description of Clinical Expertise
Dr. Nabavizadeh is primarily an adult neuroradiologist with additional training in pediatric neuroradiology and nuclear radiology. He specializes in using neuroimaging to diagnose various diseases of the central nervous system.Description of Research Expertise
Dr. Nabavizadeh is currently the principal investigator of multiple imaging clinical trials in patients with brain tumors. His research efforts involve multimodality imaging using structural and physiologic MRI imaging with additional PET probes and molecular imaging techniques to better understand the complex nature of brain tumor microenvironment. The ultimate goal of his research is to use imaging and liquid biopsy biomarkers in prognostication, tumor response evaluation, differentiation of tumor progression from treatment-effect.Selected Publications
