Dr. Chung’s clinical focus is on youth and young adults with chronic conditions and health complexity. He is particularly focused on applying youth development principles and strength-based approaches in supporting youth towards positive and rewarding futures.Description of Other Expertise
Dr. Chung’s broader professional focus is on reshaping systems and structures, both within and outside of healthcare, to better meet the needs of youth and young adults in an equitable manner. This includes population health management approaches geared towards improving their healthcare experiences and outcomes throughout the transition to adulthood, as well as cross-sectoral partnerships which underscore the importance of educational, vocational, social, and cultural resources in the lives of youth.Selected Publications
