Description of Research Expertise

My research bridges the areas of developmental psychology and cognitive neuroscience to identify how specific developmental factors shape typical and atypical development. I use multiple levels of analyses (i.e., behavior, EEG, fMRI) to understand individual developmental trajectories in cognition and emotion and probe how perturbations in such factors promote risk for maladaptive outcomes, namely internalizing disorders.
