In addition to the below, BGS students who have selected their dissertation advisors are required to complete one 1.5 hour RCR meeting and one 1.5 hour SRR meeting annually with their advisor.  

Fall 2024

• Monday, September 9th - Lab Rotations Begin 

• Friday, November 29th - Lab Rotations End

• Lab Rotation Presentations: The Week of December 2nd

Spring 2025

• Monday, January 27th - Lab Rotations Begin

• Friday, April 25th -  Lab Rotations End 

• Week of April 28th - Lab Rotation Presentations

• TBD - Works-in-Progress

• April (Date TBD) - MS Thesis Presentations 

Summer 2025

• Mid-May (Date TBD) - Epidemiology Written Qualifying Exam

• Late May (Date TBD) - Epidemiology Oral Qualifying Exam 

• June 6 - Biostatistics Qualifying Exams

• Monday, June 16th - Lab Rotations Begin

• Friday, July 11th - Select Biostatistics in Practice/MS Thesis Advisor(s) (Biostatistics only)

• Friday, August 1 - IDP Due to BGS

• Friday, August 22 - Lab Rotations End

• Monday, August 25 - Lab Rotation Presentations (Orientation)
