Areas of Special Interest

Layne has strong interest in surgical practice and development in translational animal models. This includes refining and enhancing current surgical approaches to ensure animal welfare. Outside of lab, Layne enjoys trying new restaurants, Pilates, traveling, and relaxing at home with her cat, Nyx.
