ACE Biobank

Complementary to the Williams Syndrome Association’s efforts to build a nationwide registry of patient information, ACE for WS is building a robust biobank with biological samples from patients with Williams Syndrome, 7dup Syndrome, and their families.   We will be collecting important biological, clinical, and genomic data that can be used to study Williams Syndrome and 7dup. 

What we collect:

• - Blood cells
• - DNA
• - Residual tissue form necessary medical procedures

Biological samples collected by ACE for WS will be under the 7q11 research protocol. If you are interested in participating, please contact us at aceforws@pennmedicine.upenn.edu.
